Today I decided to review a trio I bought a few months back but I have never talked about this before so I thought I would tell you all about a product I have tested over a rather long time so, *peter pan voice* here we goooooooooooooo!
So this little trio includes the three shadows I usually wear together on a daily basis (but a lot more shimmery). Included with these shadows was one of those paded eyeshadow applicator things ( I literally do not know what they are called) that you find with a lot of eyeshadow palettes.
I found that when using a brush it was hard to get a very high pigmentation of shadow on my eye but when I used the paded thing it was sooooooo much more pigmented ( I most likely need to use a smaller and denser brush).
As you can see from the swatches they are pretty pigmented so I do believe it was just the brush I was using. All the shades are shimmery but not glittery and do not crease, my favourite is the darkest brown colour as it has a very nice shimmery to it but it isn't too shimmery. All together you could use it for one eye look but I prefer to use a matte shadow in my crease as I think that it looks nicer.
The packaging is very basic which is pretty obvious considering that this trio is on £3, but to be fair it does the job well so I am not complaining. If I am being completely honest here I feel like you are getting the same kind of pigmentation as you would from more expensive eye shadows such as urban decay but for a lot cheaper.
Overall I really like this trio and think that it is amazing for the price tag.
What trios/ palettes have you been using?
