Joliebox; first thoughts... *December 2012*
Because of the Christmas overload of beauty products I haven't really tested out this months Joliebox products. So today I thought I would give my first thoughts on all the products! Also I would just like to say that this is my last beauty box post for the forseeable future due to me not really using the products, I have a lot of new products from Christmas, and my card has taken a mighty basing in the sales.
As it was Christmas I got more than usual which is a bonus. The one thing that really annoyed me about this box that all the products were in a different language so once I throw out the menu thing I won't really have a clue what some of the products do...
Lindor Chocolate Bar
Lindors are my favorite chocolates so I was happy to see it in a bar form; and even more happy to see that I had been sent two!
Bella Pierre Eyeshadow
I don't actually own any loose powder shadows so it was always good to try something new. The color is a darkish purple - a color I don't normally wear so this product isn't going to get much use, which is rather sad. But the pigment is amazing so I may look at this cosmetic line in the future but not at this time in life.
Colour Club Nail Varnish in "Put a pin in it"
This polish is a matte silver and pink glitter polish. I have the same sort of thing from Barry M which was a shame. But this is a very good polish and has good staying power!
Dr Duve Hand & Decollete Cream
I really don't understand why I would need a "lifting and firming" hand cream?! I haven't yet tried this because those little sample pouches normally just live in my draw as I never think it is a good time to use it. This will be handy -get it?!- when traveling.
I Love... Strawberries & Milkshake Lip Gloss
I like the taste and look of this lip gloss but it is very sticky. Also this product is rather cheap and Joliebox is meant to have samples of luxury products...which this, however nice or not, isn't.
Olay Regenerist Skin Cream
"With over 50 years of research, this potent blend of amino-peptides and marine provides the skin with long-lasting hydration and anti-ageing benefits." I am interested to try out the claim of "long-lasting hydration" though.
Aqua De Colonia Concentrada
This is the oldest Spanish perfume. I think it smells okay. It contains; lemon, thyme, lavender, eucalyptus, geranium and rosemary "aromas". I wouldn't buy this in the full size.
Yon-ka Pamplemousse Moisturiser
I forgot to picture this, I'm sorry. This also works as a makeup base, and I must say this product isn't that bad I'm just not keen on the smell.
I feel rather bad for this post being rather negitive but I created a blog to post my thoughts and opinions and I have spoken honestly. Although I got a lot in this Joliebox I would rather have quality over quantity.
